About Me
I am deeply committed to assisting
owners and trainers in maintaining
the wellbeing of their horses.
My aim is to reduce the physical
pain that performance and pleasure
horses experience, while supporting
a successful owner-equine partnership.
I arrived in Australia on 25
August, 2007, the very day that
the EI Lockdown started. Thankfully,
for my work it only meant a
delayed start, rather than lost
business. Two years on, I am
kept very busy on the Mid North
and North coast of NSW and have
now worked with hundreds of
horses in this region.
Having encountered an alarmingly
high level of saddle-related
issues in the horses I work
with, I recently trained with
renowned Australian saddler
Peter Horobin, who is passionate
about promoting back health
in horses. Learning from Peter
has enabled me to complete the
‘back pain picture’ and I have
recently developed further work
to address the pain directly
caused by saddle-fit related
issues.
Communication is important
to me, which is why I am producing
a regular e-bulletin relating
to equine health and welfare
issues. This provides further,
indirect support for my clients.
I also write regularly for the
North Coast’s own horse publication,
Equine News, and have contributed
to Hoofbeats magazine.
